Thank you for dropping by.....

We extend to you a warm welcome to the web site of the St Mark's Anglican Church, presenting its community and its activities. We pray that you will enjoy our warm Christian Fellowship as we offer the message of life and hope through the love of Jesus Christ.

Our mission is to "seek and save the lost" through Jesus Christ!

Jesus undertook this cause, came down from heaven to earth, to look for those who have drifted and who have cut themselves off from God and all God's goodness. His design was to save, when there was not salvation in any other way.

  • Indicate the reason you have them.
  • Please make sure that your name and phone number are on the sheet.

Over the last few months the nominators have been actively seeking the right man to nominate, for the Archbishop’s approval, to become our next Rector.
This has involved meetings with the Presentation Board, the Bishop and lengthy discussions among ourselves.

We have spoken to a number of potential nominees, visited them, heard them preach and discussed their ministry and our parish with them.

This process is continuing, as there is no clear candidate at the moment.

We value the continuing prayer of the congregation for us as we seek to find the right man to lead this parish over the coming years.

God of all creation, we pray for all who work in offices and factories in this land.  Enable them to live and work together in harmony and safety and offer to you the fruits of their toil for the good of all.

Give respect and dignity to all who labour, discernment and skill to those who develop new technologies and wisdom to all who carry great responsibilities.

In Jesus Name - Amen

A special sermon series of four that remind us of the basics of the Protestant Faith.

Loving God, whose Son was both victim and victor.  We cry to you for all who suffer abuse.  Especially the people of Zimbabwe.  Be with them in confusion and pain.

Heal the wounds of body and mind; break open the prisons of fear, self doubt and despair; and strengthen them to face the future with faith, hope and courage.

Reach our to them with your love that they may be made whole in body and spirit, through the healing touch of the Christ who suffered for them.  Amen
